Choke: Book vs. Movie

Having just seen the movie I have to say the classic "the book was better"-line applies yet again. Now I'm not to fond of people using it on a regular basis, but when it's true it's true.

However you can't mix a book and a movie. They may have the same goal - telling you the story, and what it comes down to - but the method of achieving it can't be compared.

The book gets a solid A, the movie however just didn't have the actors, lines or anything else going. Barely gets a C.

As they say... Blogging is for failed critics so i could just as well be way out of my league, who cares anyway.

To access my school's network drives i need internet explorer. Now as luck would have it there's an IE for mac... YES! I remembered this because way back in the high school days the eMacs at school had this installed as their sole browser (dumb fucking Rob >.<)

Turns out the bitch:
1. is OLD
2. still DOESN'T work

Decided to give the boot camp stuff a go. Let me tell you right of the bat, if you ever consider installing this stuff. It's BS. So now i can finally access the network drives from home.

I'm concerned that my son has a secret girlfriend?
My 17 year old son has been very secretive with me lately, recently he has started to refuse to go to church with the family and tonight when I was going through his room I found a magazine with naked men in it. He obviously has a girlfriend that he is hiding from me that brought that magazine into my home and I am afraid they are having intercourse and I am greatly concerned that he is going to get her pregnant.

What should I do about this?

Lets all hate Ryan together

Basically cheap plane tickets are great because... well they just are.

BUT with ryanair they just sell you the tickets for cheapio, and then start adding costs
example:
- bought a return ticket to Riga for less than 60 euro
- got a bag which was smaller than the maximum allowed size (50cmx40cmx20cm). Yes I actually measured it
* at the airport the bag didn't fit into the size fitting thingy

Absolute bollocks, an additional 30 euries


another example
- so they took my online check in boarding pass, because they had to print another one for the previous mentioned bag
- my boarding pass for the return flight was on the same thing
* resulting in another 7 Lats for the airport check in


as a total: 50 + 30 + 10 = 80euros... not THAT cheap is it?


FYI; when coming back, my bag was a-ok
